I don't believe in God, but I am a Christian. Question: I found your words on the net: "Sometimes we have to dig to find the answers, and that is what God wants, He wants us to dig into His Word, that is perfect, and it will enlighten our souls." I'm a 59 year old Christian. I have watched and listened to what the --- network has to say. I speak in love, and not hate. I have come to the conclusion, that these so-called Christian stations, many denominations, are full of snakes, and are doing just what Christ said they would. When we have trouble saying no. Taking on too many responsibilities. What does the Bible say about your guardian angel? What is the meaning of a dream about snakes that attack the dreamer (on her legs and feet) in her dream? Also, what is the meaning when the mother and daughters ages 16 and 19 have similar dreams of being attacked by snakes in their dreams? Please note this family is saved and believe in the teaching of the Lord Jesus Christ. I'm seeking God's guidance in a decision that needs to be made. It was suggested to me that I "throw out a fleece." I know the story of Gideon so no need to preach a history lesson on him...but what defines a fleece? I want to do a word on Mary mother of JESUS for church, Mother's Day can you help? Do just some people see demons and other people don't? Was Samson's strength really in his hair? I am a new Christian and I have been reading my Bible and anything I can get my hands on that is of [a] biblical nature. But, I am confused about the Sabbath. I am attending church now on Sunday, but my gut says the Sabbath is Saturday and that is the day that I should hold "Holy" and not Sunday. You should rethink your theory of a Satan, and demons running around, not to mention the notion that there is a hell!!! How can a God be all loving, all forgiving, all knowing, and create me full well knowing I will reject his beliefs, and then damn me to a fiery hell forever[?] Was tithing instituted by the Mosaic Law? My mother and I have been away from the church and God for 5 years now. A good friend says we should get baptized again. Is this necessary? And what exactly does baptism represent? Why did God allow stoning to death or killing in the Old Testament? I want to work at a Christian school, and you have to sign a standard of conduct, but my husband believes no one should tell you how to live outside of a job! Would it be hypercritical to work at that school knowing his beliefs? Do you have a list of benedictions? My husband and I live in Texas. My husband's sister lives in Pennsylvania. She has had a hard time making it financially. Her son has left his wife and three children and is living with another woman. My sister-in-law is living with her daughter-in-law, and they try to help each other financially. The oldest son is living with the daughter-in-law's brother, even though she is still very much involved in his life. Recently we were asked a question about what a military wife should do about fear and worry over her military husband being away on duty. What does [the] eye of a needle mean in the Bible? Should youth be prohibited from performing dramas on the altar, because of known struggle with sin? Is it wrong for a Christian to gamble? What is appropriate Christian attire for women? Or, should Christian women wear pants? [I] just want to know why there are many translations of our Bible.I believe Saturday is the Sabbath. I was told that Jesus is Lord over the Sabbath, and we don't as Christians take Saturday as the Jews do. Is this correct? I would like to chime in on the wine discussion. I believe the unfermented wine theory unravels with the pull of a thread. That thread is found when Jesus speaks a parable of wineskins. Would you please detail your training for ministry including schools you attended, degrees earned and/or conferred, and any particular men who you have regarded as mentors. What is the meaning of life? Where in the Bible does it say I [God speaking here] will destroy those who destroy my land [Israel]? The Bible says when the Gospel has been preached to every nation, then shall the end come. Is it known which nations have yet to hear the Gospel? How does Eschatology impact the local Church? The Bible is full of mistakes, contradictions and it's obvious that it is a very human book with many human errors. Where in the Bible can I [see] similar happenings and does all of this mean JESUS is coming soon? Can demons harm humans? Where do the dead go? Where does the soul go when the silver chord breaks? What do you think about Christians listening to secular music? How much financial help do you think the church should give a person if that person doesn't seem to desire to do any differently or really help themselves? Can you give me a scriptural perspective? If justification takes care of sin past, present, and future, so there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ (Rom. 8:1), why pray for forgiveness? Aren't you praying for something that is already yours? Is it wrong to not attend all scheduled church services? How were the sacrifices offered by the Israelites different or similar from the Mass today? Jesus tells us call no man on earth father, but in the more recent translations of the Bible Paul tells the Church that by serving Jesus he has become their father through the Gospel. I have never memorized Bible verses. I would like to start but don't know where to begin. Is there a list somewhere to get me going? “Creation science is an oxymoron. Science is science (built on quantifiable, provable evidence) but creationism is mysticism, which is fine for those who need it but it is based on faith not evidence. I believe the Bible universally condemns the use of fermented wine, but I am struggling to make sense of the use of the word for strong drink in Deuteronomy 14:26. I have another question about scripture for you, I trust you can help me with this situation. My question is about your understanding on the following two verses, Mat 16:19 KJV And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. Mat 18:18 KJV Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. So many people are finding their financial situations in extreme hardship. How is tithing possible when there are financial questions of survival every day?
