Bible Study Discussions with Gary Panell

Question: Hello, my name is -----, and I was truly impressed with this article [Is it Alright for Christians to Drink Alcohol?]. It is so hard to find a man of God who will be willing to tell the truth these days, concerning the gospel of Christ. I agree with you completely that Christians should not, and are not supposed to drink alcohol, because it says that Christ is without sin, and then in other areas it condemns drinking in Proverbs and many other Old Testament verses. I am encouraged by this to know that I am on the right path. Maybe if you have the time an article on Spirit Baptism would be good. Never hurts to hear that one, so many people do not know about it that should.

Answer: Thank you so much for your comments. Please pray for us, as many people don’t like the stand we have taken against alcohol, even many Christians. Also, I would like to say that we do have a study on Spirit Baptism; it is the commentary that we have done on The Acts of the Holy Spirit. You could get on Bible-Christian.org and find our Acts Bible Study, it is in twelve parts.

Thanks again for your comments, and for your prayers that we might expand this ministry even more in God’s timing. Wouldn’t it be great to see God turn Christians back to the truth about alcohol and other Bible subjects like Spirit Baptism? God bless you.

Your Brother in Christ,

Gary T. Panell
