Home › Bible Study Discussions > Bible Study Discussions with Gary PanellQuestion: What are some specific biblical examples of an unsaved heart?Answer: There are many in the Old Testament and New Testament of the Bible. An unsaved heart is one that does not believe that Jesus is Messiah God. Or in other words, one who believes Jesus is an imposter rather than truly the Son of God. Peter and John had healed a lame man but this didn't make the people with unsaved hearts very happy, so they had them arrested:
In this passage and many more in Acts you will see the difference between the saved and the unsaved. Those being saved are those who believe in Christ and His message, those that have an unsaved heart or unbelieving heart are the ones who reject the message. The Good News or Gospel is that Jesus died and rose again, and that we can have salvation thru His name, and His name alone. This is not a popular message, but it is the truth. If you have not accepted Jesus into your heart and life, He wants to save you now. Just pray, "God be merciful to me a sinner, I believe that Your Son Jesus Christ can save me. Right now I invite Him to come into my life and take away my sin, and make me a child of God, in Jesus name I pray amen." God bless you and thanks for the question, Gary T.
